Definition 3s5l24
An orphan pot is one where players seem to have little interested in the hand or winning the pot. It is often won by the first person to bet into it.
Example 55fm
With everybody limping into the pot preflop, the dry flop, and my opponents checking to me, I chose to bet and buy the orphan pot.
